Pageant Consultation Studio 48 Performing Arts Center is accepting registration for individuals who are interested in competing in area pageants. Rebecca Beck former Miss Maine America and the current reigning Mrs. United States, Kristin Walton along with Sarita Bubar, a runner up in the Mrs. Maine America pageant ,will be teaching students in poise, interview skills, pageant walk, and talent presentation. This workshop will benefit students who also want to further their skills in Performing Arts, public speaking and poise. The workshop is on October 13th, from 10 am to 2:30pm. Voice Classes with Deb Colburn
Beginning voice classes will learn all aspects of singing, utilizing breathing techniques, placement, diction, posture and repertoire.
Ages 7-9 4:30pm to 5:15pm
Ages 10-12 5:15pm to 6:00pm
Tuition: $20.00 per class plus a $20.00 non-refundable registration fee
Sight Singing & Ear Training
Sight singing is the term used for the ability to read and sing a piece of music previously unseen and unrehearsed. Many vocalists sing by ear and never find the need to learn to sight read, however, singers need to be able to learn songs faster which can make singing more enjoyable. This beginning course will introduce students to the more technical aspect of music through ear training, simple theory and sight singing by using solfege or numerical system to help students become more efficient in learning music. This course is specifically designed for students auditioning for Districts and All State.

Ages 10-12 11:00-12:00pm
